I am a native Georgian and have traveled all over the country only to appreciate Georgia more each time I return home. I love the regional diversity from coast to mountains and I live in S.C. very close to northeast Georgia now in the peidmont or foothills area at the southern end of the Appalachian chain. I love the green rolling hills and the huge lakes nearby. The climate is moderate without lingering extremes in temperature. I prefer north portion to the southern half and am truly a Georgia Boy at heart.
